Making a Purchase from Ecofirst

Making a purchase could not be easier. Please browse through our site and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Proceed to secure payment pages" and you will then be prompted to enter your payment details.

We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo and personal cheque. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or email, or you can use our online shop.

Shipping and Handling

Unless otherwise stated prices include the cost of weekday delivery to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. For Saturday deliveries, or deliveries to Northern Ireland, offshore islands or worldwide, please contact us for a quote.

Delivery Schedule

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 14 days, but please allow 28 days.

Returns Policy

We hope that you are completely satisfied with your purchase and with the service provided by Ecofirst Ltd. However, in the unlikely event that goods are damaged on arrival, or part or all of an order is not received within the specified time, please inform us within five working days, otherwise no claim can be considered.

The Consumer Protection (Distance selling) Regulations 2000

This is the latest law covering online retailing. These regulations do not apply to business-to-business transactions. By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item(s) are received.

Notification of intention to cancel should be received by Ecofirst Ltd within the cooling off period in writing. “Writing” includes letter or email sent to Ecofirst Ltd at its registered address. A telephone call is not acceptable.

Returned Goods

A full refund (less a deduction for postage and packing) will be provided on any item returned to us, undamaged within 14 days, for any reason. Alternatively the goods may be exchanged. Refunds or exchanges cannot be made before we receive the returned goods. Returns made after 14 days will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

We recommend that you obtain a certificate of postage from the Post Office if making a return, to enable you to make a claim for any loss or damage, as we are unable to compensate for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.

Any refunds due will be will be completed within 30 days of the receipt of the goods in re-saleable condition back to Ecofirst Ltd. Refunds will be made by cheque or by re-crediting the customer’s credit or debit card if the original purchase was made using these payment methods.

For orders cancelled before goods are shipped out we reserve the right to charge a fee, which will cover the costs of re-stocking the item(s) plus the refund charge made by the card company to return money to the customer's card.

Our 14 day cooling-off period goes above and beyond your statutory rights.

Privacy Policy

Any personal information provided to or gathered by Ecofirst Ltd is controlled by Ecofirst Ltd only. We use this information to handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers, update our records and generally maintain your accounts with us. We may also use this information to improve our website, prevent or detect fraud or abuses of our website and to carry out technical, logistical or other functions.

Ecofirst Ltd does not disclose customer information to third parties.
