Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

• You can claim RHI if more than one building is being heated or...
• The heat use is for commercial/business purposes and...
• The heat use is eligible, which means; in a building, for heating, hot water and for process use
• Tariff rates as below: 

Small Commercial Biomass	Less than 200kW	Tier 1 = 7.9 p/kWh Tier 2 = 2.0 p/kWh
Medium Commercial Biomass	200kW up but excluding 1MW	Tier 1 = 4.9 p/kWh Tier 2 = 2.0 p/kWh

 

For example;

• A 199kW boiler working at an average loading will earn...
• £20,600 per year for...
• 20 Years!

Domestic;

• If you are off the gas grid and...
• You use MCS equipment and installers then...
• Currently you can claim a renewable heat premium payment (RHPP) and qualify for the coming domestic RHI scheme
• Small biomass installations will receive £950
