Ecofirst have been instructed by Solar Power Generation Ltd to design, supply, install and commission a solar PV array system for a major solar park project in Keinton Mandeville, Somerset.
The proposal for this project is for a large scale solar photovoltaic farm, which includes the installation of rows of solar panels and associated plant / structures. The solar panels will generate renewable electricity during daylight hours, although the specific level of output will vary according to weather conditions. The proposed PV farm will consist of approximately 5000 panels, which in turn when the project is complete will generate up to 760kW of solar power and produce 739,146 kWh of green electricity every year, this would be enough to supply 225 homes!
