Established and trusted
Ecofirst was established in 2006 by the house builderZeroC, one of the UK’s foremost sustainable developers.
In 2007, Ecofirst became one of the first renewable energy specialists to gain MCS accreditation. Our excellent service and consistent delivery secured Ecofirst a nationwide rolling contract with npower to install domestic solar PV systems for their customers.
Ecofirst continues to work on commercial projects with large brands including Coca Cola, the Forestry Commission, Access Self Storage, and a wide range of councils, housing associations and private developers.
Excellent customer service
Quality is key for Ecofirst, not only in terms of our system designs and the standard of our installations but also in our pre and post installation customer service. We aim to deliver renewable energy solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations, not just on the day they are commissioned but throughout their operational lifetime.
Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us. We work closely with all of our customers to ensure they are thrilled with our service. We also operate a charity referral scheme so, not only, do our customer and their friends and relatives benefit from sustainable energy for the future but our local nominated charity, School in a Bag, receives £100 for every customer referred to us.
Bespoke solutions
We pride ourselves on working with our customers and listening. Ecofirst will consider every aspect of your installation and provide the best system to suit your needs.
Expert team
Whilst renewable technologies are becoming more and more popular in the UK, in depth knowledge of their integration with conventional mechanical and electrical services is still limited. It is therefore of vital importance that a specialist renewable contractor understands the engineering behind the systems they install and how they integrate with existing services. In recognition of this Ecofirst has its own in-house engineering design team.
Ecofirst’s commitment to high quality design and installation is recognised in our accreditations. Under the UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme Ecofirst is an MCS approved installer (MCS1036) of solar photovoltaic systems, biomass heating systems, solar thermal systems. In addition to the specialist MCS accreditation Ecofirst also holds NICEIC approved electrical contractor status and is a HETAS registered installer.
Multi technology experts
Unlike many other renewable companies, Ecofirst has embraced both renewable heat and power technologies. This approach reflects our belief that in order to reduce the overall energy demand and carbon emissions of a building or a site it is necessary to consider both its heat and power requirements.
By offering multiple technologies we are able to select the most appropriate renewable energy solution rather than trying to make a single technology fit the bill.
High quality suppliers
Ecofirst has strong, mature relationships with key equipment suppliers. We use proven, quality products that match our customers’ expectations and needs.
Our suppliers include Samsung, Hyundai, Luxor, SMA, Axitec, Click fit, Woodpecker Energy, HDG Bavaria,MCZ.
